Goodbye Granny S

My husbands granny dies last week. She had Alzheimer (sever almost dementia) and had in the last month broken her hip,femur and her arm and eventually succumbed to pneumonia and died. I am sad but I know it was for the best and I know that she is better off now. I just don't do death well. I hope that she is in a place with no pain and her memories. She was the nicest person in my husbands family and I will miss her very very much. The funeral is tomorrow. I am having to take a days unpaid leave to go to the funeral - but that's another story for another day.
